One-time payment, no subscription. All prices include 10% Japanese consumption tax. "1 project" = one title. Sequels and series require separate licenses.
Credit is not required. That said, if you're able to include a credit in your end credits, game credits, or event program, it would mean a lot. Suggested formats below.

QI received a copyright claim on YouTube. What should I do?▼
H/MIX GALLERY does not register tracks with Content ID and will never file a claim against you. If you received one, a third party may have registered the track without permission. Please contact us and we will help you file a dispute.
QCan I use it on TikTok, Instagram, or Niconico?▼
Yes, all platforms are welcome. Note that TikTok may have time limits on audio usage (typically around 60 seconds). For Niconico, please include a credit in the video description or tags.
QCan I register the tracks to Content ID or Rights Manager?▼
No — this is strictly prohibited. Registering H/MIX GALLERY tracks to Content ID, Facebook/Instagram Rights Manager, or similar systems causes wrongful claims against other legitimate users and violates these terms.
QIs credit required to use the music?▼
No, credit is not required at all. A link in your description is a kind request — not a condition. That said, it genuinely helps Hirokazu create more music, so your support is deeply appreciated.
QWhere should I put the credit in the description?▼
Anywhere in the description works. A common practice is to add a "── Music Used ──" section near the bottom. The copy templates above make it easy — just paste and done. In-video text or end credits are also fine.
QCan I add a credit after the video is already published?▼
Yes, no problem. You can edit your YouTube description at any time after publishing.
QCan I use it for commercial purposes (ads, products, store BGM)?▼
A commercial license (from ¥2,200) is required for advertising videos, product promotions, corporate presentations, and store background music. Personal use, YouTube videos, and non-commercial content are completely free.
QCan I use it in a game or app I'm selling?▼
Personal and indie game projects are free to use. Commercial products (games, apps, downloadable content, etc.) require a commercial license (from ¥2,200). It's a one-time fee — no subscription needed.
QCan I use it for contests or school projects?▼
Yes! Just make sure to check the contest rules too, as some competitions have restrictions on music usage.
QCan I edit, cut, or loop the tracks?▼
Yes — cutting, looping, fading, pitch adjustment and similar edits are all fine. However, redistributing edited audio files as a separate asset pack is prohibited.
QWhat does "royalty-free" actually mean?▼
It does not mean the music has no copyright. It means you can use the music freely within the terms of this license. The copyright remains with the creator (Hirokazu Akiyama). Claiming ownership of the music is strictly prohibited.
QDo I need to apply or report my usage?▼
No application or report is required. Download and use it right away. Sending a usage report is entirely optional — but it does motivate the composer!
QCan creators outside Japan use the music?▼
Yes! H/MIX GALLERY is open to creators worldwide. There are no regional restrictions. English support is available — feel free to reach out.
